Roni Jo Draper, Ph.D., (too snooty–nah, I wrote a damn dissertation) is a professor to teacher education at Brigham Young University where she prepares teachers to take up issues of social justice and literacy in their classrooms. She serves on the leadership of her local PFLAG chapter, she is a Mama Dragon, she serves as an advisor to the USGA (an unofficial club at BYU that works as a GSA), and she is a contributor to the Out in Zion podcast. She engages in this work because of her desire to support LGBTQ people and their families.
